North Central Family Resources Network Programs – August 2020

Hello everyone!

It is crazy to think that it is already the end of July! We hope that you have had a good summer so far despite these uncertain times. Here at the North Central Family Resource Network, we have had a very exciting month. We are happy to say that the construction of our new space is complete and the team is back full time in the office (although we are still closed to the public at this time). We cannot wait to have you all come and see it sometime soon! Our team has been busy program planning for the Fall, and we hope to have a wide range of programs available to the community. Please let us know if there are any trends in your community that you think would benefit from our support, especially as children transition back to school and the complexities that that brings to families.

Some program highlights:
Our virtual summer camp, Summer in the City, is still accepting registrations for our August session; please see the attached poster for details!
We are also offering Mother Goose in the Park- families with children ages 0-3 can join us in the park for physically distanced songs, rhymes, and story time! At this time we are keeping the groups very small (max 4 participants) but can offer the program in multiple sessions as we receive interest from the community. Call our main line, 403-543-0555 to register for free!
Upcoming programs- we are going to be offering a virtual Youth Community Kitchen as well as a mask making virtual group in August. Please call the FRN for more details as we develop these programs.

As always, check out our website for our calendar and program updates:
